All products are subject to availability. In the event of non-availability, we will notify the customer as soon as possible, whereby possible alternatives shall be offered, or a refund given.

Products are sold singly unless otherwise stated. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all colours, sizes and descriptions of all products. However, due to technical limitations, some colours may vary.

A 14 day Satisfaction Guarantee policy is operated on all 'non-perishable' goods sold by the company (see 'Returns' for details). This time period starts from the day after the consumer receives the goods.

Following new legislation under the Consumer Protection Regulations 2000, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days without giving a reason. This time period starts from the day after the consumer receives the goods.

Please return any items in their original packaging to the company in exchange for a replacement product or a refund of the value of the item(s). Postage costs will only be refunded in the event of a fault on our part (e.g. supplying a faulty or incorrect item).

This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

We welcome orders by any of the following methods:

  • online Internet transaction with a credit / debit card
  • telephone ordering with a credit / debit card or cheque
  • postal ordering with a cheque / postal order
  • fax ordering with a credit / debit card


Items ordered will be delivered as soon as possible to the customer in accordance with the stated delivery service. We undertake to inform you of any subsequent change to the delivery time. The charges for the delivery service can be obtained from our Delivery Section. Delivery charges are subject to change without any prior notice.

Goods can be returned for a full refund (including delivery charge) if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched within 7 days after receipt of goods. In this event please return the goods to Website Returns Great Western Camping, 28 High East Street, Dorchester, DT1 1HF.

If the goods have been dispatched as ordered but are unwanted, then they can be returned for a refund within 7 days after the receipt of the goods. Only the cost of the goods will be refunded. Any delivery charges incurred are non-refundable.

Items must be unused, still have their original packaging and labelling, and be accompanied by a copy of the receipt. These conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. The card used for the purchase will be credited with the original purchase amount (less any delivery charge paid where appropriate) within 5 working days of our receipt of the returned item(s). We recommend you obtain a proof of posting.

The company cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery of failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have been received by the customer.


All products are guaranteed against failure to provide reasonable wear owing to defective workmanship or materials for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase. In the event of a warranty claim, please contact us in the first instance by telephone 01305 266800 or email Then return the item with a copy of the original receipt to the company. Please identify clearly the area or part that has failed. All items must be returned in a clean, dry condition, otherwise they may be returned to you without consideration.

Force Majeure

We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company. If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of the company until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by the company.

Privacy policy

The Information we collect is via a secure server and is only used by us lawfully and within the Data Protection Act 1998. Your credit card details are not stored after your order has been fulfilled and Great Western Camping does not have access to your card numbers. We aim to make our online transactions as secure as possible. The checkout process is performed on our secure server which will encrypt all your input making it impossible for any data transmitted from your computer to be intercepted by others. Credit card transactions are performed by Paypal who are a secure e-commerce provider. Payal will take your credit/debit card details, validate them and take payment. You will then be returned back to our website. For this reason the only credit card information we keep is whether your transaction is successful or not.
